When I get to the top of that gnarly climb I can switch to Trail mode, this mode is a happy medium between Climb and Descend(we’ll get to that next) The Trail setting is your go to all around setting, you could even set and forget with this setting. When pedaling up a steep climb I can use the climb mode which is close to a lock out setting but I still get the benefits of the suspension. For example, the Sycamore Canyon trail system is behind our main shipping warehouse in Riverside, Ca and CTD is perfect for these trails. So what’s so great about CTD? Well, have you ever wanted to be able to adjust your ride on the go? Switch from 3 easy yet super diverse modes to tackle any terrain. These are three modes that come equipped on the Float X and many other great Fox Shox. Haven’t been briefed on CTD yet? Well let me be the one to open your eyes. The Float CTD Boost Valve can take you nearly anywhere your heart desires. Boasting the revolutionary CTD compression dampening system. The Fox Float CTD Boost Valve rear shock has a boost valve added support with aggressive riding. Shock has never been mounted on any frames. Shock measures 8.5" eye to eye with a 2.5".
